"I have enjoyed working with Miriam Vareldzis over the last 9 years.  We first met at an industry luncheon in a city that neither of us lived.  Sitting next to each other talking, it felt like we had known each other for lifetimes.  That chance encounter changed my business and thus my life.  At the time I was an independent perfumer hand-blending in my home studio, just starting to receive inquiries from international distributors.  I needed help understanding manufacturing and it was serendipitous that I met her when I did!  She guided the reformulation of my fragrances for export, which allowed my business to grow globally.  When she moved to a larger French fragrance house, I had the opportunity to work with a company who would have otherwise turned me down, being a relatively small client.  But Miriam believed in me and took a chance, bringing my business forward.  The entire experience from fragrance concept, scent design, evaluation, editing and finalizing was an extraordinary experience.  The four new fragrances we developed were extremely successful.  In fact, 'Konig' won the Golden Pear for Best Fragrance in a double-blind juried competition from the Institute of Art & Olfaction in 2014.  The other fragrances were immediately sold-out at Anthropologie.

Miriam has taught me the ins & outs of the fragrance industry.  Her expertise and knowledge are vast since she knows both the client and supply side, which is very rare.  Additionally, she champions artisan perfumery and has even branched-out expressing her creativity with her own brand.  She is fluent in the Art of Perfumery.  I feel lucky to have worked with her on so many projects and even more fortunate to call her a friend.  In fact, she has been a guiding light in my business and I owe a large part of my success to her."
